About the Project:

The Araceli Theatre Program is a unique therapeutic theater roject offered by the Cancer, Awareness, Research and Education (CARE) program of San Francisco General Hospital. The CARE program has been nationally recognized for excellence in patient education by California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). The CARE program began in 2002 and has continued to offer educational and informational groups to cancer patients at the hospital. This innovative program has experienced continued growth over the past two years and has extended its vision to encompass the first therapeutic theatre program offered at San Francisco General Hospital.
